IN THE TROPICS...
The Atlantic hurricane season has started out slow, but, we can't forget hurricane Andrew, which formed in late August. It doesn't matter if there are 50 major hurricanes, if none of them hit land, than woohoo, there were 50 major hurricanes.
The East-Pac remains quite.
The Central Pac- Tropical Storm Lana is, amazingly, still a tropical storm. There are Tropical Storm Warnings out for the waters around Hawaii, however, this storm is slowly dieing, and will most likely by a depression by this time tomorrow. There is another area (with a less than 30% chance of development) in the C-Pac, this, as unlikely as it is, could still develop.
